Professional Development of Nursing

  1. You have a paper due or before Saturday. When you write a      paper, you need to include a thesis. This should be about 3 sentences and      then a sentence describing the purpose of the paper. Example: “The      purpose of this paper is to demonstrate….”
  2. Use 1-4 word BOLD Centered Headers to separate Rubric topics.      Example:” IOM and Education”. Do not write a sentence for      Headers.
  3. Make sure your grading rubric is nearby as that is how I must      grade the papers.
  4. When you submit references, review APA 7th edition. Make sure      you are placing references by author’s last name first in alphabetical      order.
  5. Do not write in the 1st person for APA papers. You may use      words such as “The author’s experience is…” or This writer’s      observation” type sentences.
  6. Provide expanded examples from your experiences to support      your analysis. Do not write papers only using quoted referenced material      as you need to demonstrate critical thinking, analysis and application.

Below are the GCU instructions (not the rubric) for your assignment: NOTE: THIS PAPER IS WORTH 250 PTS!
