My role As a retail management team member is to ensure that the daily operations of the store are ran accordingly per the company standards.

  1. How do you define professionalism and how does professional responsibility influence your work?

I define professionalism as the core value of anyone in a leadership role. Personal responsibility has a hugh impact on my work as I mentor and coach young retail professionals on the importance of leading be an example.

  1. Do you consider yourself a steward of retail industry ? Why or Why not?

Yes, I consider myself a steward of the retail industry since I have been in this field for many years. In the 13 years of spent in the retail management field I have seen this industry grow through the evolution of social media, sales and Customer service.

  1. Is it important to you that leaders exercise professional advocacy and authenticity as well as power and influence when working with colleagues? Why or why not?

Yes, this is extremely important as the new generation looks up to their future leader in many fields. The decisions we make and the examples we set  as professionals will scoop many future leaders. There are things I can learn from my colleagues as we have learned from different experience throughout the retail field. I’ve realized that being your most authentic self will gain the most attention from today’s generation.
