Literature Review Feedback
Hello Ernesto,
Thank you so much for submitting your Literature Review paper. As you know, one of the most important components of a change project is to conduct a thorough literature review, which assists in establishing the need for the project and to establish if there are best practices available.
Again, thank you for submitting your paper. Be sure to review the grading rubric associated with this assignment. Do not hesitate to contact me should you have questions.

Educational Opportunities and Updated Nurse Training
Capstone Objectives
- To develop updated nursing curriculum focus areas that update the current nursing practice to needs in the industry.
Current nurse training does not match the evolving healthcare needs hence the need for curriculum updates. The first step in achieving and effective update is identifying the priority focus areas that need to be updated to enhance nurse training.

- To train nurses in new and emerging evidence-based patient care procedures for high-quality care.
Other than curricula which apply in education settings, updating nurses with new and emerging care processes can help them meet the emerging needs of patients and the healthcare industry. These will be generalized approaches including aspects such as patient-centered care.
- To train nurses in the evidence-based practice (EBP) process and improve their competencies in the same.
EBP is central to quality-improvement and an overarching goal for this project is to increase the quality of healthcare delivered to patients. Training nurses in EBP will increase their competence and enhance their ability to provide high quality healthcare.
Autonomy and Social Justice
Autonomy and social justice will be enhanced using the proposed project. The project seeks to enhance nurses’ education using latest and updated techniques and information. Autonomy is an ethical concept of the ability to determine care that is carried out on the individual. Training will enhance nurses’ understanding of these ethical principles which can then be transferred to practice. Similarly, social justice refers to the equitable distribution of disease burden and benefits of healthcare (Wilbur et al., 2020). Among diverse populations, this can be enhanced through training to enhance cultural competence. Updated training and education will enhance nurses’ competence to work with diverse populations and hence increase their social justice. Therefore, the updated education and training of nurses will enhance ethical practice through enhanced recognition of autonomy and promotion of social justice through cultural competence.
