Week 11 Discussion Board Question;

JS, a 9-year-old male client with ADHD – hyperactive type, was brought to the child psychiatry clinic by his mother for his regular appointment. During the evaluation, she reported episodic erratic behavior marked by euphoria, loss of balance, and confusion. In your interview with JS, he discloses that every day after school he sneaks into the kitchen cupboard and drinks some of “mom’s Koolaid she drinks with dinner” before his parents get home from work.
